I have an energetic shar pei rescue who is solid muscle. She quickly picks up scents and is tenacious in trying to follow them. She also has poor doggie manner when greeting strange dogs. At 110#, I was having a difficult time running with her in the woods or neighborhood. She got loose from every harness I tried until I found the web master by Ruff Wear. It is comfortable and easy to put on/off. She has never even come close to escaping this harness. The handle is great for stopping her in her tracks. If she tries to be go after a small furry creature or is rude to another dog, I just grab her by the handle and she cannot get away from me. If a car is approaching, I can hold her still securely by the handle. I love this harness! Be sure to measure your dog. The small is large than you expect, but it is true to the listed measurements.
